Bricks & Minifigs just released a brand-new public statement—and after everything surrounding BAM over the past few months, Coach is breaking down why this may be one of the strangest PR moves yet.

Instead of addressing the questions currently surrounding BAM corporate, the statement pivots almost entirely to nostalgia, community, parents, kids, collectors, and the emotional connection people have with LEGO.

In this video, Coach breaks down the language BAM chose, what the statement emphasizes, what it completely avoids, and why lines like “It’s about you” and “we’re grateful to be a small part of your story” hit very differently in the middle of an ongoing credibility crisis.
