So, gardening leave appears to mean nothing to both Dan Ashworth and Omar Berrada. As reported by Craig Hope, Dan Ashworth sent an email to his own Newcastle United email address inadvertently revealing he was being tapped up by incoming Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada, who was still on gardening leave from Manchester City. Oops!

For almost a decade, it has seemed like Lewis would stay at Mercedes until he retired but with the team unable to provide him with a car to win that record breaking 8th world drivers title, it is time for him to fulfil another dream of his. Miguel Almiron is the most likely Newcastle player to leave the club before the deadline amid interest from Saudi Arabia's Al Shabab.
Newcastle have said this month they need to sell to buy players because of Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR) – and Almiron currently presents the most realistic chance of doing that.
Discussions are ongoing with Al Shabab and Saudi Arabian officials about a potential deal for the Paraguayan, who is happy at Newcastle and settled in the UK.
The club want to keep Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson amid interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid respectively.

With the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix just days away, the spotlight of the Formula One world is turning its burning gaze to the sport’s tyre manufacturer, Pirelli. The famous tyre brand has faced its criticisms over the past few years as the ground effect cars posed Pirelli never before faced problems. Perhaps their biggest challenge yet though will be keeping the cars on the road on the frigid streets of Las Vegas. The simple matter of the fact is that Formula One cars are not designed or tested to run in these temperatures and Pirelli’s tyres will suffer from the same problem.
