Miguel Almiron is the most likely Newcastle player to leave the club before the deadline amid interest from Saudi Arabia's Al Shabab.

Newcastle have said this month they need to sell to buy players because of Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR) – and Almiron currently presents the most realistic chance of doing that.

Discussions are ongoing with Al Shabab and Saudi Arabian officials about a potential deal for the Paraguayan, who is happy at Newcastle and settled in the UK.

The club want to keep Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson amid interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid respectively.
