Newcastle head coach Matthias Jaissle did NOT hold back after his side crashed out of the Carabao Cup fourth round following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

00 INTRO

05 on his team's performance. Disappointed with the result. It's also a bit shocking because overall the game was not that bad. Story of the season so far. Opposition at this level will punish you. These are the things we need to learn quickly.

46 on his use of the word shocking. We could have scored more goals. The result makes the evening shocking.

35 on half time triple substitution. It was about getting offensive power into the game. Will Osula was not able to continue. He twisted his ankle when he took the shot. We wanted a bit more fresh energy.

18 on individual mistakes. You need to avoid these mistakes. Just a clearance. A pure clearance. This is a learning process, but you don't get the time. We need to learn fast.

41 on if this is the most frustrated he has been after a result. Yes because we played ok. We did well in many phases of the game, but these few situations can kill a game. That makes us frustrated and makes fans frustrated. We need to avoid it in the future to have better results.

19 on if his style of play is sustainable given individual errors. If you have an opportunity to clear a ball and a few seconds later you concede a goal, then I would not talk about structure. We need to just learn out of these aspects. We pressed the opposition high. We had many ball wins. We need to be more efficient to score more goals out of these opportunities.

26 on if Will Osaula will be available for Monday. It is too early at the moment.

39 on his message to the Newcastle fans. They saw a team fighting and create many occasions to score. We can understand their frustration.

40 on inconsistent performances. We mentioned the up and downs right. I don't want to see everything bad today.

12 on how worries he is by conceding goals. We need to just avoid individual mistakes.

59 on if there is a softness to his team. It's about not allowing a gift for the opposition. Out of so many occasions today how often we entered the box of Everton that needs to be more than one goal.
