BAM’s Salem Story Falls Apart | Bricks & Minifigs
A newly released Collecting Weekly recording is raising serious new questions about BAM’s version of what happened at the Salem Bricks & Minifigs store.
The conversation was recorded in April 2025 with Josh Johnson and Brandon Best — but hearing it now, after BAM’s later court filings, police records, and the ongoing Gorman litigation, several statements are difficult to reconcile.
In this video, we break down:
- Josh Johnson saying there was “no possibility” Bryan Mansell’s LEGO remained in the store
- the claim that there were “no stickers”
- later texts saying stickered sets were actually being held in the back
- BAM’s verified complaint placing the discovery of certain LEGO sets much later
- questions about what POS and inventory records were actually available
- the controversial $38,000 inventory valuation
- why this could matter in Chrystal Law and Ben Gorman’s ongoing lawsuit against BAM
Bryan Mansell has already settled with BAM, so this is not about reopening that dispute.
The bigger question is whether the newly released recording creates problems for BAM’s broader Salem timeline — especially while the Gorman case is still active.
Important: the Gormans’ claims remain allegations, and no court has ruled that BAM, Josh Johnson, Brandon Best, or any other defendant committed wrongdoing.
But when the recordings, police records, texts, and verified court filings are placed side by side, the Salem story gets a lot harder to explain.
