Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe admitted on Sunday that the club is under pressure to add talent before the start of the season.

Star striker Alexander Isak remains absent, while Newcastle have lost Callum Wilson, leaving the Magpies shorthanded with the transfer window closing.

"There’s not much time," Howe said Sunday in Seoul. "We lost Callum Wilson, who in himself is a massive loss, and then you add that to Alex, who’s not been with us. We’ve certainly felt their absence."
