Spain is in revolt as Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez allows 1.3 million migrants to apply for legalised status in Spain. This week saw the Supreme Court rule that applications cannot be denied on the basis of the migrants having a criminal record.

Virginia Martinez has introduced a motion to the Murcia parliament declaring the Prime Minister 'persona non grata', calling him a 'danger to the country', after multiple members of his inner circle, including his brother, were jailed for corruption-related charges.

The Prime Minister's wife has been indicted and is barred from leaving the country.
