SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches NASA's Crew 11 mission to the space station
Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 carrying two NASA astronauts, a Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut and Russian (Roscosmos) cosmonaut on a mission to the International Space Station aboard a Dragon capsule. Liftoff from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center is scheduled for 12:09 p.m. EDT (1609 UTC) on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The first-stage booster, tail number B1094, making its third flight, will return to a landing at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) about seven-and-a-half minutes after launch.
Aboard Dragon Endurance will be Crew 11 Commander Zena Cardman, Pilot Mike Fincke, Mission Specialist Kimiya Yui and Mission Specialist Oleg Platonov.
Commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith, starting approximately four hours prior to liftoff.
