■ Lewis Hamilton’s departure from Mercedes has left a massive void that needs to be filled—not only in the driver’s seat but also in the factories in Brackley and Brixworth. With Hamilton having a solid-standing relationship with most of the title personnel there, including his race engineer Peter Bonnington, known as ‘Bono,’ the team understands that there is a massive risk of a Mercedes 'staff exodus’ ahead of the 2025 season. So, with one last full season ahead of them, how will things unfold between Hamilton and Mercedes and more importantly, will the staff trust the 7-time world champion more than they will trust the team?

It’s no secret that Lewis Hamilton has been unhappy with how Mercedes have been performing since 2022. The team that bought him unparalleled success in F1 has become unstuck by the new technical regulations. For almost a decade, it has seemed like Lewis would stay at Mercedes until he retired but with the team unable to provide him with a car to win that record breaking 8th world drivers title, it is time for him to fulfil another dream of his. Hamilton to Ferrari looks like it is finally on.

A story has been brewing for weeks now that could have catastrophic implications for Formula One. At first, it seemed too outlandish and was nothing but rumours so we just dismissed it but now, the FIA have made it real. Toto Wolff, Susie Wolff, and the Mercedes team are accused of cheating, colluding, and using their influence in the sport to get inside information for the benefit of the Mercedes team. Today, I’ll cover what the FIA are investigating them for, where the hints that this was happening were, and how the team are responding. This could be the end of the Wolff family in Formula One.

With the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix just days away, the spotlight of the Formula One world is turning its burning gaze to the sport’s tyre manufacturer, Pirelli. The famous tyre brand has faced its criticisms over the past few years as the ground effect cars posed Pirelli never before faced problems. Perhaps their biggest challenge yet though will be keeping the cars on the road on the frigid streets of Las Vegas. The simple matter of the fact is that Formula One cars are not designed or tested to run in these temperatures and Pirelli’s tyres will suffer from the same problem.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend is now in full swing and the drivers have had their first taste of what the next three years of racing in Nevada will be like. With all the controversy surrounding the race and the negativity that preceded it, the drivers and teams have kept their opinions quiet. Now though, in front of the media, they have spilled the beans, and their initial opinions are shocking.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix was built up to be the greatest spectacle of the season but just 8 minutes into FP1, it descended into chaos. A loose water valve cover destroyed three cars before the session was red flagged. The teams and drivers were furious and Toto Wolff had one of his famous explosions at the media as we waited for FP2 to start. This is not the start to a weekend that anyone wanted, especially the thousands of fans who were forcefully removed from the grandstands.
